Vacancy International Business Development Manager

Boorwerk, a KvK innovation Top-100 player, is manufacturer and distributor of a revolutionary product line under our brand ProFit. Within the € 350M market, ProFit hole saws distinguish themselves with unique patented features and best in class quality. This has translated into market leadership in five European markets, including NL.

In this position you will focus on activating and developing existing importers. You will also select and initiate new importer contracts in new geographies and set up private label partnerships. In addition, you will introduce new product lines at existing importers.

The target is to double sales volumes within the next five years.

You will report to the Managing Director. The President owner is closely involved in strategy and product development. You will also work intensively with an expert Client Service team of 4 FTE that is responsible for international order processing and delivery planning.

Boorwerk is looking for someone with the energy to travel 50% of the time; a BDM that perseveres and gets things done. Someone who enjoys having clear frameworks to work on the market independently and who has the ability to successfully position ProFit for the longer term.

Your profile:
  • Minimum Bachelor working and thinking level
  • Minimum 7 years Business Development experience in multiple countries
  • Experience with indirect B-2-B sales (importers, distributors or trading companies)
  • Experience in starting up indirect sales channels abroad
  • Potential to grow into the role of Commercial Director.
